Cannoli Cream

This cannoli recipe is from uncle Jimmy who owned Jimmy’s Bakery in detroit back in the day, these are the real deal.

Ingredients

  • 1 OT Half & Half

  • 1 Cup Sugar

  • 1 Cup Cornstarch

  • 1 TSP Fresh Cinnamon

  • 1 TSP Vanilla

  • 1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips (Optional)

Directions

  • Mix everything (Except chocolate chips) into 2QT Saucepan, simmer over medium/low heat to reduce and thicken up, about 30 minutes

  • Remove from heat allow to cool and move to fridge to chill.

  • Mix in chocolate chips into cooled cream mix (Optional)

  • Fill Cannoli shells with cream mixture and dust with powdered sugar or cocoa or chocolcate shavings
