Cannoli Cream
This cannoli recipe is from uncle Jimmy who owned Jimmy’s Bakery in detroit back in the day, these are the real deal.
Ingredients
1 OT Half & Half
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Cornstarch
1 TSP Fresh Cinnamon
1 TSP Vanilla
1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips (Optional)
Directions
Mix everything (Except chocolate chips) into 2QT Saucepan, simmer over medium/low heat to reduce and thicken up, about 30 minutes
Remove from heat allow to cool and move to fridge to chill.
Mix in chocolate chips into cooled cream mix (Optional)
Fill Cannoli shells with cream mixture and dust with powdered sugar or cocoa or chocolcate shavings
