Cannoli Shells

This cannoli recipe is from uncle Jimmy who owned Jimmy’s Bakery in detroit back in the day, these are the real deal.

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Robin Hood Flour

  • 1 Stick Butter (Softened)

  • 3 TBSP Sugar

  • 1/4 TSP Salt

  • 1 TSP Cinnamon

  • 1/4 Cup Wine

  • 1/4 Cup Whiskey

  • 2 Large Eggs

  • Oil for Frying

Directions

  • In large mixing bowl, mix everything together until formed into dough

  • Roll dough to about 1/16 inch thick

  • Cut into 5 1/2 inch circles

  • Place shells around metal rods and deep fry until gloden brown

  • Lay shells onto cookie sheet lined with absorbant brown paper to absorb any extra oil
